An event in the novel 'The Railway Children' by Edith Nesbit that made me happy is when the three children saved the train from crashing into a landslide.
This event made me happy because the children prevented the train by making six red flags from the girls' petticoats and warned the train before colliding into the landslide. Bobbie even jumped in front of the train to stop the train until the train stopped just twenty metres away from her.
Through Bobbie and her siblings's bravery, they saved the passengers in the train from their death. This is the reason why this event made me happy.
