-The first step would be to understand the question. The question is 'A flashflood at my village'. This translates to 'Banjir kilat di kampung saya'.
-Next, you should find the cause of the conflict. What is the cause of flash flood? Flash flood is caused by continous heavy rain for a long period of time. This should be the subject of your first paragraph.
-Furthermore, decide on the tense that will be used. I'm going with present tense because it's easier to write in.
-I suggest you don' t start your first paragraph with "last week" and such because it's too redundant. Be more creative with your essay!
-Example of first paragraph:
-It has been continuously raining for a few days. The water level has been slowly but steadily increasing. It has reached the lower steps of our rickety old stairs. Dad says that we should pack up our valuables in case the rain doesn't stop anytime soon. I agree. It has been raining cats and dogs since a few days ago and it doesn't look to be stopping anytime soon. We hadn't evacuate with the other villagers because my stubborn grandmother refuses to abandon the house she inherits from her own late grandmother. Dad asks me to evacuate to higher grounds with the rest of our family but I refuse. I can't abandon him with the burden of taking care of our sickly grandmother in the midst of this flood.
-Ok, another tip is for you to craft your own story from the question. As I said earlier, be more creative!
-For example, don' t just talk about the flood. That's boring. Elaborate on your predicament during the incident.
-I think you can write the rest of the story yourself.
-Now, onto the most important part. The conclusion! Here you should write about the aftermath of the flood. How many houses are destroyed? Are there any casualties?
-You should also write about the help given to the flood victims. Did anyone raises funds to provide money and essentials to the victims? What kind of help did the government offers?
-Moreover, you should write about the impact the flood has made in your life. How did the flood affect your life in anyway? Are you more careful around water?
[[Hope this helps]]~♥♥♥~
