On school holidays recently, I attended a scout camp held at my school for two days and one night. The camp was attended by 25 members, scouts and accompanied by four teachers adviser.
Approximately at 7:30 am, we were in the school field. Camping head, Mr Rosli gives a brief overview of all the scouts and dividing us into groups to carry out the task. We attach ears to hear his instructions.
First, we set up camp in their respective groups. All the scouts work together to carry out duties as directed by the head of a group like bamboos with banks. Afterwards, we attended lectures on first aid school board. Ms rooms and several members of senior scouts demonstrate how to give first aid. He also taught us how to dress wounds with a cloth sling.
In the afternoon, we had a cooking competition. Each group is required to prepare a traditional meal. My group has prepared Nasi Goreng. Although we only managed to get third place, but I feel very happy to be able to learn how to cook and enjoy their own cooking, although not as good as mother's cooking.
In the afternoon, we practiced marching in the middle of the field. All the scouts heard the orders of the head with care. We marched away with discipline and team spirit. Then, we collect firewood for the bonfire in front of the tent.
After dinner, we sat around the campfire. Each group presents performances by their creativity. Mr Saifuddin also strum the guitar while singing the song Rasa Sayang. We all feel happy and comforted.
The next morning, all the scouts doing aerobics on the field. After breakfast, we clean up the campsite and packing to go home. We've got a lot of valuable experience and knowledge that result from this camp.
